Senior Software Engineer

Company and Position Overview:

Oracle NetSuite, the leading integrated cloud business software suite—including business accounting, ERP, CRM, and eCommerce software—is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance user experiences. We are currently seeking a talented team of Senior+ Software Engineers to enhance and optimize our existing internal AI powered chatbot service, integrated with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI services, which currently serves approximately 10,000 users. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions for our AI chatbot service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to AI and chatbot development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that integrate AI chatbot functionalities with their use cases.
• Provide engineering direction to other team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a full-stack orientation and platform management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• High proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java (both is a plus).
• Experienced with frontend related programming languages (e.g. Typescript, JavaScript) and UI development focused on user experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a part of a team.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Perfect proficiency related to source code management and versioning (e.g. GIT).

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in the field of AI and LLM (Cohere, Llama).
• Experienced with frontend development (Typescript) using React-based frameworks (Next JS) and styling framework (Tailwind CSS).
• Experienced in backend development (Python, FastAPI, Uvicorn), cloud service integration (OCI) and asynchronous programming (asyncio).
• Experienced in software release management (GIT, CI/CD, RPM, Helm).
• Experienced with OS and platform management (OracleLinux, Kubernetes) and OS-level virtualization (Docker, Podman, Rancher).
• Knowledgeable with databases (Oracle ATP).
