About the client

Balto is redefining AI for contact centers, and we need an SEO powerhouse to make sure the world knows it. This role is 100% focused on building Balto's SEO strategy—researching, executing, and optimizing for top-performing industry keywords to drive organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

You're going to have a wide-ranging group of responsibilities and goals. On a day to day basis, this means:

• SEO Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute a data-driven SEO strategy to increase Balto’s organic search visibility.
  • Research and identify top-performing industry keywords, balancing search volume, competition, and intent.
  • Continuously analyze SEO performance, adjust strategies, and stay ahead of Google algorithm updates.
• Content Development & Optimization
  • Write and refine SEO-driven article briefs to guide content creation.
  • Produce, edit, and optimize content for blog posts, landing pages, and website copy.
  • Ensure on-page SEO (meta descriptions, headers, keyword placement, alt text, internal linking) is flawless.
• Technical SEO & UX
  • Audit and improve site structure, page speed, crawlability, and indexation.
  • Work with developers to implement SEO-friendly site improvements.
  • Monitor Google Search Console and other tools for indexing issues and broken links.
• Link Building & Authority Growth
  • Purchase and source backlinks both organically and through budgeted outreach.
  • Develop a backlink strategy to increase domain authority.
  • Identify guest posting, PR, and industry partnerships to secure high-quality backlinks.
• ChatGPT & AI Search Optimization
  • Optimize Balto’s content to increase visibility in AI-driven search results, including ChatGPT and other AI chatbots.
  • Develop prompts and fine-tune content so ChatGPT and AI search tools surface Balto as a top answer.
  • Monitor ChatGPT, Google SGE, and AI-powered search engines to understand ranking factors and optimize accordingly.
  • Test and refine structured data, FAQ content, and AI-friendly formats to enhance discoverability in AI-driven responses.
• Content Layout & Visuals
  • Source and identify compelling images and multimedia for SEO content.
  • Work with designers to create visually engaging article layouts that drive engagement.

What You Need: 

• 2+ Years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of increasing organic traffic and ranking for high-value keywords.
• Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, Google’s algorithm updates, and competitive analysis.
• Experience with Ahrefs, HubSpot, Clarity, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for keyword optimization.
• Experience with backlink acquisition, both organic and paid.
• Ability to collaborate across marketing, design, and development teams.
• Self-driven, analytical, and results-oriented—you don’t just recommend changes, you execute them.

• HubSpot – Content planning, SEO tracking, inbound marketing
• Microsoft Clarity – User behavior tracking and heatmaps
• Google Analytics – Performance tracking and reporting
