PD Finance Business Intelligence / Modernization Analyst - We value creativity, innovation, and a can-do attitude. We are seeking a data-savvy BI / Modernization Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business insights through data analytics and helping modernize the finance function. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and business acumen to support the development of tools to inform decision-making and maintain our competitive advantage.

What you'll do...

  • Work with a team of 3 other analysts in the PD Finance Business Intelligence / Modernization team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to support business intelligence dashboards and reports for real-time insights into business performance.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into business performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, identify insights, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize business processes and drive growth.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize business processes and drive growth.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects as needed to support business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for data-driven initiatives.

What you'll have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, finance, accounting, business administration, economics, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, data science, or data engineering.
  • Experience with competitive analysis and market research.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Qlik Sense / Power BI) and data preparation and blending tools (Alteryx).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s degree in data science, computer science, finance, accounting, business administration, economics, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Skills in other data/automation tools (BigQuery, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and potentially Java, Scala, or R.
  • Experience in using and developing AI tools to enhance business performance.
