Data Analytics Internship

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Intern to join the Operations team for the summer! This full-time internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global company while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

As an intern, you will play a key role in using internal data sources to improve our understanding of operational efficiency and utilization. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze data using advanced MS Excel tools and Power BI to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations to drive efficiency and collaboration across global operational teams. This internship will provide valuable exposure to data analytics, problem-solving frameworks, and cross-functional teamwork.

This is a full-time, on-site internship based in our Middleton, WI office.

Job Duties

• Combine data from multiple sources using MS Excel Power Queries or Power BI.

• Analyze data and help create visualizations and dashboards to drive insight into our operational processes.

• Conduct root-cause analyses and plan problem-solving sessions to allow for open discussion and actionable planning of identified process inefficiencies.

• Develop recommendations for improvements and present them to stakeholders at various stages of the improvement process.

• Aid in the standardization of processes for the Operations team.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

• Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management or other relevant field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and work in a Microsoft Windows environment

• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Bi.

• Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills
