Revvity Signals platforms aim to revolutionize scientific research by providing advanced cloud SaaS data management and data analytics tools to researchers and professionals in the life sciences industry. 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our Signals Software team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our cutting-edge cloud analytics SaaS platform, specifically designed for the scientific community. Your work will focus on leading the implementation of new analytics features and data models across various domains and applications, including drug discovery, clinical trials, and chemicals and materials.

You Will:  

  • Lead the development of new data analytics features, either within a single project or across multiple projects, based on your prior experience  
  • Collaborate with fellow team members and product owners on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation  
  • Collaborate with data engineers and software architects to define and to ensure architecture will support the business requirements  
  • Create new analytics features in SaaS that leverage AI and machine learning to enable processing of huge amounts of scientific data   
  • Work with analytics cloud services and technologies  

  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • +7 years of professional work experience in data analytics  

  • Exceptional Python programming skills  

  • Experience designing and implementing Machine Learning solutions in the cloud or in hybrid architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Msc Degree or Ph  

  • Experience developing and training models   

  • Experience with parallel computing frameworks and technologies (Spark, Dask,...)  

  • Experience in data visualization  

  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership to teams 

  • Experience working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and research innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.  

  • Comfortable presenting and demonstrating results in live settings in front of stakeholders and/or customers.  

  • Strong technical writing abilities and analytical skills.  

  • Detail oriented, focused on facts and objectives.  

  • Persistent and structured but flexible when challenged with competing priorities.  

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.  

  • Life science experience a plus
