What you`ll do

Are you excited to become a Java microservice developer for one of SAP’s largest cloud native products? In your new role you will be responsible for a cloud service which is performing software upgrades for for a cloud product used by thousands of customers. You will optimize speed by applying parallelization patterns. You will make sure to store success rates and performance indicators in a database which are then used to create service dashboards.

Your daily tasks are:

• Develop and implement new features in Java using Spring
• Use dynatrace / grafana to analyze degradations
• Create strategies to improve the resiliency and stability of the service
• Work with international teams to improve the service communication and the end to end process

What you bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Java developer in a full-time position
• Knowledge with databases and web technologies

Optionally you have:

• Experience in deploying applications to cloud platforms 
• Knowledge about Kubernetes 
• Fluent English and basic German language skills
