The Team – your impact

You will be part of our Data & AI Engineering Chapter that represents all experts who deliver data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s MLOps & GenAIOps tech stack and ensure a high level of data delivery & model automation. The product team where you will work in daily provides Corporate solutions to the entire E.ON group. The digital solutions range from agentic support for auditing processes to a data and AI platform for Health and Safety of E.ON workers.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Work on multiple AI-driven products, ranging from classical Machine Learning to cutting-edge AI agents
• Develop and operate AI agents to autonomously perform tasks based on user queries and retrieved information
• Scale and operate classical Machine Learning models to derive insights from safety incidents and provide actionable information to workers at risk
• Create intuitive interfaces and dashboards for data visualization, including geospatial data analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists and IT teams to identify opportunities for AI-powered solutions
• Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of the digital solutions

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI Engineering, MLOps or related areas
• Proficient in Python and experienced with LLMs and ML frameworks (e.g., LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Strong expertise in building, deploying, and operating AI / ML solutions, including prompt engineering for LLMs and vector databases
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion pipelines, custom connectors, and data integration techniques
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and agile ways of working
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal AI / ML portfolio is nice to have
