Position Title: 

Application Development Analyst

 

Pay Rate:

$82,500 – 110,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Contribute to hands-on development and deployment of applications and advanced analytics solutions for the Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF) division of International Paper, supporting operations across the globe.
  • Collaborate directly with GCF business partners to produce user stories, analyze source data capabilities, identify issues and opportunities, develop data models, and test and deploy innovative applications and analytics solutions.
  • Provide quality and timely development results, including architecting, building, sustaining, testing, implementing, and configuring applications in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Support enterprise application deployment projects, providing technical leadership and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Define and document functional/technical specifications and support documentation for custom solutions aligned with true business needs.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with geographically distributed IT resources, business analysts, developers, corporate staff groups, teammates, business representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of the working environment and strive to make it more efficient.
  • Seek out, create, and communicate best practices and processes.
  • Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Invite input from others and influence new ideas and processes.
  • Act as a technical expert in one or more specialized areas of application systems analysis, programming and/or analytics.
  • Provide application support in a 24/7/365 environment by participating in an on-call rotation.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of development experience required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Required Experience/Technologies:
    • .NET Development (C#/Blazor)
    • Web Development (ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5)
    • Database Technologies (MSSQL, Oracle)
  • Desired Experience/Technologies:
    • Python or R analytics tools and libraries (Machine Learning)
    • Data Visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
    • Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, Python, R, SAP Fiori
    • Crystal Reports, SSRS, SSIS
    • SAP BW HANA
    • Agile Scrum framework
