Scope:  

Our Analytics Engineer develops digital infrastructure and data pipelines to accelerate product innovation, product design, and product development. You will work with cross functional teams to gather, wrangle, cleanse, structure and build data products that support the analytics goals of the Global Technology community and the broader organization. The Analytics Engineer builds and maintains the foundational data analytics infrastructure to enable new revenue-generating business models and improve underlying business processes for cost savings. You will lead, manage, and mentor others to expand the team's capabilities and collective knowledge, and prioritize projects to focus on impactful contributions to the organization.

 

Responsiblities: 

  • Use SQL and Python to write production-quality code to meet the data transformation needs of analysts, data scientists, and other business partners
  •  Support the use of analytics platforms and data science workflows, while identifying ways to strengthen and scale our data foundation
  •  Help design and develop transparent ELT pipelines that deliver timely and accurate data to end users
  •  Translate business requirements and logic into well-documented data models to drive clarity and efficiency for end users
  •  Collaborate cross functionally to understand and identify data needs and opportunities to use data to drive business solutions
  •  Communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a compelling manner
  •  Evaluate external partners across different dimensions for analytics initiatives
  •  Partner with IT to align on data architecture, analytics tools, and other technologies

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Computer Science
  • A minimum of 2 years of Analytics experience
  • High level of Python & SQL  proficiency
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platform 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Consumer Goods Proven Experience

  • Master’s Degree or Professional Certification in Data Engineering or Cloud Computing Platform
  • Active GitHub account with examples of past work 
  • Strong oral and written English skills
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow
  • Familiarity with dbt
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or Google Big Query 
  • Familiarity with data analytics workflows, objectives, tech stacks, common terminology

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
