Job Duties:

1. Design and plan for solutions in the various engineering subject areas as it relates to data storage and movement solutions: data warehousing, enterprise system data architecture, data design (e.g., Logical and Physical Modeling), data persistence technologies, data processing, data management, and data analysis.
2. Build secure, highly available, fault tolerant, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions using big-data technologies like Spark, Python, PowerShell, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL server, Azure Databricks, Power BI, and implement business intelligence best practices.
3. Design, develop, troubleshoot, evaluate, deploy, and document data management and business intelligence systems, enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
4. Support senior management with data strategy, proposals, and scoping of data engineering and business intelligence requests. This includes the implementation and communication of changes across the Data Engineering team for technical design and automation.
5. Work with business customers to understand the business requirements and implement solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
6. Knowledge of all aspects of the MDA such as ETL, metadata layer, presentation layer, security/administration, user support and production support
7. Lead complex reporting projects
8. Automate processes using ETL and scripting best practices.
9. Position reports out of Chandler, AZ HQ office but telecommuting is permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related

Experience Requirements: 24 months of experience in job offered, Sr. Consultant, or closely related

Special skills requirements:

1. Experience building secure database/data warehouse which are highly available, scalable, stable, and cost-effective data solutions using data storage/processing technologies like AWS-S3 storage technology, Azure VM’s, Azure SQL server, Azure Data factory, Alteryx, Python, Power BI, PowerShell, vb.NET, and business intelligence best practices
2. Experience consulting, designing, developing, troubleshooting, evaluating, deploying, and documenting data management and business intelligence systems, in order to enable clients to manage the business and make effective decisions for Go-to-Market strategy
3. Experience working with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs
4. Experience conducting training sessions to train teammates in Alteryx tool to perform self-serve data analysis
5. Experience performing data analysis and creating reports using Microsoft Power BI reporting services
6. Must have certification in Business Intelligence
