The Procurement Operations, Systems & Data Analytics Lead reports to the Head of Procurement & Vendor Management and acts as a key member of the Procurement team to achieve Medicard procurement transformation goals.

The role includes the management and reporting of procurement metrics, procurement performance monitoring and procurement operations/tactical procurement activities; including, but not limited to, leading process improvements and automation, serving as Procurement specific and/or enterprise wide procure to pay systems deployment, and providing stakeholders customer service and governance.

This role will be responsible for the timely and accurate collection and analysis of supply chain/procurement data for a consolidated view, harvesting data from various source systems and ERP and converting them into visualization dashboards for presentation to senior management team and other key stakeholders. S/he will complement and supplement the role of strategic sourcing managers/category buyers by generating historic procurement spend analysis reports to advanced analytics that aid improvement strategies, solutions, budget and other future decisions.

This role will also be a key player in driving procure-to-pay policies productivity and compliance by helping the Procurement team standardize and document its key processes, policies and procedures, industrializing and automating them whenever possible, and then leading user education and stakeholder roadshows/townhalls/brown bag sessions/orientation to facilitate change management processes.

·       Serve as Business Partner for procurement operations, analytics and reporting capabilities and systems deployment
·       Work with the Procurement Head to monitor the performance of the procurement organization thru structured reports; lead the team’s reports/SLA/KPI/dashboard/metrics preparation, analysis and reporting as well as monitoring of procurement lead and lag measures for the various procurement priorities affecting such metrics;
·       Evaluate procurement operational practices to determine if current processes are optimized, aligned to lean practices and to Company policies, and delivering the required results;

·       Collaborate with team Procurement members to ensure that all Procurement initiatives and programs (i.e. project pipeline) are implemented by preparing a tracker or equivalent mechanism; contribute to the accomplishment of procurement strategy thru regular performance reporting and providing analytics to help provide the procurement strategic sourcing team potential opportunities based on spend data and other relevant data;
·       Identify maverick spend to help compliance and improve contract coverage;
·       Work with Procurement Contracts Administration specialist in monitoring contract status by sending notification to Procurement category buyers/sourcing managers on contract expiration dates 30, 60, and 90 days prior;
·       Research best practices in procurement analytics and reporting, and discuss with the procurement team on what to prioritize based on best practices and value-add to the organization;
·       Assist sourcing managers/category buyers to identify strategies for savings opportunities, vendor management, identify sourcing potential, address supply risk opportunities, manage sustainability performance, develop supplier relationships and facilitate innovation through reporting and analytics;
·       Lead Procurement processes standardization & documentation, and preparation of user guides, templates, process flows and the like; implement process quality audit, standardization, streamlining and automation initiatives;
·       Lead user orientations, supplier townhalls on procure-to-pay policies and procedures;
·       Perform spot buying and PR to PO processing for requisitions that are ≤PHP250K in value;
·       Support sourcing managers/category buyers by managing the e-RFX/bid/tender events on their behalf, and summarizing and analyzing the vendors’ responses post event;
·       Manage the procurement user groups and vendors, monitors access controls and provides helpdesk and user trainings on a periodic basis and as necessary.
·       Provide P2P functional administration which may include vendor enablement, user access and training, purchase requisition monitoring, and monitoring of aging actions in the Company’s ERP system.
·       Lead Procurement’s audit trail and compliance artifacts recording keeping initiatives;
Serve as internal subject matter expert for deploying Procurement tools and systems such as SAP/Ariba, developing internal knowledge base for the same, as well as providing oversight on deployment or change management activities.
