About the Role
Treasury Infrastructure:Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Group and Local Business Units to streamline treasury processes, enhance operational efficiency, tracking and monitoring system performances and development of policies and procedures.
Banking Infrastructure:
Manages all bank accounts activities, analyzes data, SAP configuration, system admin for banking portal and SWIFT and process change request.
Treasury Infrastructure:
Assist with required implementation and oversee support models and delivery of on-going upgrades or maintenance for Group Treasury systems, including but not limited to:
Treasury Data Mart (“TDM”)/CMFS
MS Power BI
Extract, Transform and Load (“ETL”)
MS Power Apps - Group Treasury workflows:
Treasury Request System (“TRS”)
Capital AAMP
FX Workflow
Treasury Dashboard
SWIFT
SAP (Cash Management and Bank Communication Management modules)
Bloomberg Liquidity Assessment (“LQA”)
Elicit, analyze and articulate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the delivery of Treasury solutions, using appropriate tools.
Support delivers project documentation such as business solution design, implementation plans, communication plans and ad hoc analysis.
Participate and facilitate planning of project deliverables including data conversion, user acceptance testing, etc.
Implement efficient ways of collecting data from various sources.
Review and analyse collected data to provide actionable insights to the management team.
Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data visualization tools.
Collaborate with different teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Design and implement data-driven strategies to support business objectives
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of initiatives.
Handling sensitive data and details in line with established protocols and policy requirement.
Banking Infrastructure:
Be an integral part of the Treasury Operations team that manages Group Office bank accounts and oversees and governs the group-wide operation of bank accounts in local business units (insurance entities).
Drive data-based decisions to identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve operating efficiency.
Maintain and implement our bank signatory framework, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, conduct annual reviews and perform remediation.
Manage signatories and bank account information in SAP and banks, conduct annual reviews and perform remediation.
Support the opening of new bank accounts in various global markets interacting directly with our banking partners and internal stakeholders.
Collect and analyse data to ensure bank accounts are setup and configured correctly in SAP. Conduct the testing for CM and BCM.
Develop, update and implement business process manuals.
System access administration, internal controls, and audits
Bank account opening, closing and control maintenance.
Other:
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by manager.
Job Requirements :
University Degree is required (Finance/ Accounting is an asset).
4-5 years of experience in financial services (Treasury experience is an asset).
Experience with institutional bank account management, bank connectivity and SWIFT would be considered an asset
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL would be beneficial.
Familiar with using data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Ability to us English to communicate in a clear and concise manner in both written and verbal forms.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability with respect to professional responsibilities and deliverables.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously.
Working level knowledge of SAP is an asset
Proactive and demonstrated desire to actively seek out system and process improvement and challenge the status quo.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, experience with standard office software
Ability to work under tight deadlines is required.
Normal working hours, shift hours and working on Malaysia public holidays will be required.
