Endeavor is also the majority owner of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), a premium sports and entertainment company comprising UFC, WWE, IMG, On Location, and PBR.The Data Science team is looking for a Software Engineer to act as a bridge between the Data Science and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in .NET development and an interest in mathematical and probability concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices that will be part of a bigger application stack.
- Maintain and refactor the Data Science model repository for runtime efficiency and technical scalability. For example, establish (a) robust data contracts, (b) error handling and logging, (c) load/stress testing, (d) unit testing etc.
- Assist the Data Science team with the release process.
- Establish coding best-practices for the Data Science team to follow.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams on model integration and NFR implementation.
- Report to the Director of Data Science on workflow and share findings with the Data Science team.
Essential Qualifications
- A postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or other quantitative field.
- Experience in .NET development.
- Experience with CRUD actions on various data sources (SQL, NO-SQL, streaming or data-lake).
- Be knowledgeable on RESTful APIs and Kafka topics to consume and produce data from .NET microservices.
- Experience with version control platforms (e.g. GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket etc.).
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous programming.
- Understanding of some modelling techniques (e.g. Probability Distributions, GLMs, Monte Carlo Simulations, Time-Series Analysis etc.)
- Experience in Python development.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- An understanding of betting concepts and markets will be considered a plus.
