About This Role

                                                                                                         

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on automation design, development, and administration support for various end- to-end technical process (AD & SB assessment, reliability report generation, defect & records management) with a primary focus on Power Automate and Azure Services.
  • Implement RPAs and workflows in Power Automate to automate airworthiness processes.
  • Design, develop and maintain web applications on Azure Services.
  • Design, develop and maintain technical dashboards and data structures which supply them.
  • Support the airline technical services with process automation and data management.
  • Oversee and fix any defects or performance problems discovered during the lifecycle of delivered automations and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate in the creation of CAE TSS data infrastructure and analytics environments, understand the data and provide reports for key business decisions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to technical support staff, including key integration points between systems (AMOS, TRAX …).
  • Participate in IT aircraft technical projects such as predictive maintenance, immersive solutions, AI records management, etc.
  • Liaison, reporting and follow up with clients on integrated automations and dashboards
  • Other complex projects and duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Information Technologies or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience as DevOps and/or Software Architect.
  • 1+ years’ experience managing Azure Services or possessing any Azure certifications.
  • 1+ years’ experience in software development, ideally with Python and JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • 1+ years’ experience working under software development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • 1+ years’ experience developing microservices and/or RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of SQL database design and optimization is mandatory, NoSQL is nice to have.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in an airworthiness/CAMO or fleet management role in an airline or MRO environment.
  • Experience as software development team lead.
  • Experience developing data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Experience or knowledge of frontend cutting-edge technologies (e.g. Angular, Vue).
