Presbyterian Healthcare is hiring a Expert System Architect! The Enterprise Architect builds a holistic view of the organizations technology strategy, process and IT roadmap and enables the delivery of business capabilities and technology resources. Results are documented using multiple architectural models or views showing how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, and adaptable manner. Broad and deep experience with technology and business are essential for this role. This role much broader than typical solution architect and system architect roles. However, its important to note the Enterprise Architect will leverage these roles (and others) from time-to-time.

Prefer Qualifications:

  • SAS Programming Experience (2+ years) is strongly preferred as our primary data analytics/extraction tool – as well as Database Extraction using SQL – in absence of SAS, SQL or other data extraction / manipulation tool will be considered
  • HEDIS and/or Medicare Stars experience​
  • Demonstrated Understanding of Data alignment to HEDIS Specifications for proper data consumption​
  • Experience integrating clinical data (EMR, Lab) with administrative data (claims) is desired, but not required​
  • ​Experience in Healthplan

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in technology related field plus 15 years of IT or business experience.
  • Experience developing strategic technology plans and roadmaps, including business capability planning
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
  • Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts
  • Experience leading efforts to create technological solutions and architectures impacting critical areas of the business
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Demonstrated technology skills across multiple IT domains (e.g., application, security, infrastructure)
  • Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level
  • Experience in enterprise architecture or application architecture, application development and/or systems managementStrong understanding of software, hardware, architecture frameworks, and corporate technology and trends (e.g., SOA, TOGAF, IOT, ETL, cloud architectures)TOGAF Certification is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute on IT strategy to ensure alignment with the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the organizations strategy, processes, information and technology assets.
  • Partner with business and technology subject experts to translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Coordinate, review and approve projects to ensure that they are compliant with architectural standards, policies and guidelines.
