Are you someone who can:

• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to optimize credit card collections strategies
• Analyze customer data to identify patterns, trends, and insights to improve collection efforts and minimize defaults

• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and metrics to stakeholders effectively
• Track performance metrics and KPIs, providing actionable recommendations based on data findings
• Collaborate with collections operations teams to understand their challenges and integrate data solutions that drive efficiency.
• Work closely with the Credit teams, Collection advisors and managers, and finance teams as necessary to align strategies
• Lead and manage data science projects from conception through to execution
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts within the team

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Have 3+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analysis, preferably in the financial services or credit risk domain
• Have proven experience with credit card collections or debt recovery processes (highly desirable)
• Are proficient in SAS for statistical analysis and modeling
• Have experience with big data tools
• Have strong knowledge of SQL or SAS for data extraction and manipulation
