2. JOB PURPOSE:

• To ensure data maintained in SAP and related systems is managed in line with our policies and standards defined for master data creation and maintenance.
• Identifying data quality improvements and / or misalignment across global operations.
• Collaborating with global colleagues, ensuring data services are delivered within agreed timescales.
• Driving continuous data management improvement globally.

 

 

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Follows all relevant Master Data Management policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to MDM procedure development.

 

• Adherence to policies, processes and procedures.

 

 

 

Day to day operations

• Operate the MENA data management processes for the creation and update of customer, vendor, material master data in SAP and supporting systems, working with colleagues globally
• Monitor progress of new requests for customer / vendor / material master data across the business, identifying potential data issues
• Support the root cause analysis of data issues
• Communicate the progress of new data requests to internal business stakeholders
• Prepare and execute SOPs for data quality management processes as part of new data governance arrangements using the Information Steward tool to identify issues and resolve with business teams

 

• Requests completed accurately and in line with agreed service levels.
• Positive feedback from internal client on issue resolution.
• Evidence of effective use of Information Steward output in support of data governance processes.

• Use data analysis skills to support specific business projects where specific data analysis expertise is required.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Bachelor or degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or related

EXPERIENCE

• 0-1 years of experience
• Experience of SAP master data in the pharmaceutical industry

SKILLS

• Understanding of master data concepts – knowledge of customer, vendor or material data objects
• Functional knowledge of SAP
• Problem solving, including root cause analysis and ability to understand dependencies across processes
• Attention to detail with effective time management and organisational skills
• Can work independently as well as effectively within the team
