Citi is a leading global bank for institutions with cross-border needs, a global provider in wealth management and a U.S. personal bank.Citibank, N.A. seeks a Risk Policy Senior Manager for its Schaumburg, Illinois location.
Duties: Contribute to loss mitigation risk policies and strategies implementation, improve existing processes to manage collections risk appetite within bank’s U.S. credit cards domain. Lead digital collections initiatives and projects. Use Statistical Analytical System (SAS) and UNIX environment to perform risk and financial analyses including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, quality testing, investigation, and risk ad-hoc analytics. Develop recommendations to manage collections risk policies by monitoring and analyzing customers’ performance and behavior and utilize segmentation and others simulation techniques to improve collections performance. Develop, test, and optimize collections risk policies, strategies and initiatives, and ensure consistency and compliance with regulators and bank’s global and domestic policies. Use Python data analysis libraries pandas and NumPy in conjunction with SAS for advanced risk and financial analyses. Employ data visualization tool Tableau to present findings and insights from risk and financial analyses. Perform regulatory reporting, risk reporting, and portfolio quality review reporting. Prepare risk proposals and analytical packages, and present and communicate them to senior management. Assess risk and communicate concerns when any risk, operational and technical issue are found. Interact with partners in risk, operations, legal, compliance and fair lending, and senior management to get risk approvals, complete required documentations, and follow risk governance procedures to comply with internal policies and procedures. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience as Risk Policy Officer, Risk Policy Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or related position involving data extraction and analysis in support of business strategy development. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 2 years of experience must include: Risk policy development and implementation; Statistical and financial analysis; SAS programming; UNIX environment.
