About the Job

The ‘Analytics’ and ‘Data Management’ capability is a crucial part of the Insights & Analytics pillar within the GTMC organization. This pillar is dedicated to seamlessly integrating with the business to provide best-in-class actionable insights. Our vision is to establish Sanofi-wide best practices and strategies that enable impactful business decisions through data- driven insights and analyses, benefiting both stakeholders and patients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The DM and Analytics capability seeks to accelerate the use of advanced analytical capabilities and processes to support

  • our company's growth objectives, employ dynamic resource allocation, and ensure consistent, highly valued outputs and

  • also optimizing data frameworks and processes to deliver Best-in-class cross pillar solutions , facilitating informed decision-

  • making.

  • Analytics Business specialist: provide support of global and local analytics processes to facilitate informed

  • decision-making for our business leaders.

  • Portfolio Strategies: Prioritize Biopharma and Vaccines portfolios, including Immunology, Rare Diseases, Onco-

  • Haemato, Cardiometabolic, Flu, RSV, and Brand Launches.

  • Cross-pillar Solutions: Deploy multivariable solutions incorporating GTM data, Market Data, and Financial data.

  • As a member of the Eurasia MCO Insights & Analytics team, the Analytics&DM Specialist will:

  • Support GTMC local partners to identify the need for locally specific analytics.

  • Align with the global analytics strategy, justifying ML and AI initiatives with financial and patient-centric

  • considerations.

  • Support the Market Insights Team to improve analytics maturity by delivering advanced analytics solutions.

  • Support Global-to-Local Data Management initiatives to support Eurasia MCO Markets

  • Support seamless integration between business needs, digital and Sanofi hubs to meet Service Level Agreements.

  • Support optimization and standardization initiatives to minimize local efforts.

  • Collaborating with global teams and other pillars to uphold data curation best practices.

  • Work with Sanofi hubs and Digital to transition operations (when needed) to achieve Global ‘DRIVE’ ambition.

  • Adapt metrics and standards of business functions locally only if required within global guardrails

  • Develop business, channel attribution, and marketing analytics, including tool guidance and advanced

  • analytics with the Digital team.

  • Implement resource utilization and capacity planning measures, including dashboard standards.

  • Support forecasting analytics models to ensure business plans and budget forecasts.

  • Support development patient models to ensure growth brands and launches.

  • Deploy (or develop if needed) field force analytics with strong call-to-action components.

  • Conduct/Develop local analyses leveraging advanced analytics with the Digital team, if required.

  • Request additional analytics support from the hub team, if needed.

  • Consolidate local BU requests for data access/acquisition and elevate them to the global level to ensure a consistent approach.

  • Act as the local administrator and manage user access (UAM) for Global Data Offerings.

  • Support commercial data acquisition in line with business budgeting and GTMC guidelines.

  • Support Global Digital + MDM teams to ensure data quality and integrity in Data Warehouses.

Main Requirements:

  • Education Background: Relevant degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Pharmaceutical Industry Understanding: Business acumen and knowledge of pharmaceutical business models in countries.

Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in the data science lifecycle (Definition, Collection, Preparation, EDA, Feature Eng., Modeling,Training, Testing, Deployment, Communication).

  • Knowledge of machine learning supervised algorithms.

  • Basic knowledge of Python for data science (Pandas, Numpy, ScikitLearn, StatsModels, TensorFlow,

  • Keras, etc).

  • Proficient in data engineering and database management tools like Snowflake, Informatica, and MySQL.

  • Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and data governance.

  • Expertise in data modeling and data quality indicators.

  • Experience in data visualization and descriptive analytics.

  • Desirable programming skills in Python for data-wrangling (Pandas, Numpy, SQLAlchemy, Dask)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate data-driven narratives to both Backoffice and business stakeholders.

  • Resilience and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and integrity of flat data and calculated KPIs.

  • Vendor management

  • Learning agility: Stay updated on advanced analytics trends and pharmaceutical benchmarks.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Turkish, English

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.

  • 3+ years in data science roles, including data management and/or data analytics

  • Experience in managing large datasets and data curation techniques

  • Experience administrating DBMS and consuming structured DWH.

  • Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders.

  • Desired hands-on experience in advanced analytics with demonstrated improvements in:

  • Field force analytics (resource allocation, segmentation and targeting, SF deployments).

  • Multivariate time-series forecasting.

  • Channel attribution and marketing mix modeling
