Data Engineering Excellence Intern

As a Data Engineering Excellence Intern, you will work with leadership cross-functionally in our organization between our Data Analytics & AI teams. With your help, we can progress in foundational enhancements, such as creating templates, automating workflows, or drafting playbooks, enabling the team to work more efficiently and effectively in the long term. You'll work closely with engineers and data scientists to support data ingestion, processing, & analytics infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a better experience in onboarding activities for engineers joining our organization
• Collaborate on internal tools and dashboards to improve data visibility and accessibility
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, & agile ceremonies with various engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, interest in OLAP databases such as BigQuery and Snowflake
• Strong collaboration skills. experience leading or mentoring teams is a bonus
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, and cloud platforms
