Role Overview

Are you a passionate Clinical Dietitian Nutritionist with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, program implementation, and innovation? Sodexo is seeking a dynamic nutrition leader to support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of national clinical and patient nutrition services.  This position requires Registered Dietitian credentials.  In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage data-driven insights, and contribute to the advancement of nutrition strategies that enhance patient outcomes, operational excellence, and market differentiation. You’ll play a key role in performance evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and translating research into actionable solutions, ensuring our nutrition services remain at the forefront of the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Outcomes/Data Driven Insights (50%)
    • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of national clinical and patient nutrition services, ensuring programs are evidence-based, scalable, and aligned with industry standards. Assist in adapting nutrition services to meet the diverse needs of healthcare partners while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
    • Manage the collection and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for service enhancements, ensuring alignment with Clinicia’s long-term growth strategy.
    • Provide guidance and technical expertise to nutrition and dietetics professionals, supporting best practices in clinical nutrition, program implementation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Serve as a resource for integrating nutrition services into client care models, assisting with problem-solving and the resolution of clinical challenges.
  • Innovation Roadmap (30%)
    • Assist in the implementation of new clinical nutrition services by identifying emerging best practices, supporting pilot programs, and gathering stakeholder feedback to refine offerings before national rollout.
    • Assist in the development of educational resources and training programs that equip frontline nutrition professionals with the latest evidence-based practices, helping to drive engagement and adoption of new initiatives.
    • Monitor emerging trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory shifts to inform the innovation pipeline, ensuring that Clinicia remains competitive, compliant, and ahead of industry changes.
  • Marketing/Communication (20%)
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop clinical nutrition messaging, white papers, case studies, and educational materials that highlight the impact of new programs and services. Provide technical expertise to ensure messaging is evidence-based and aligned with industry best practices.
    • Support client-facing communications by helping to develop proposals, presentations, and reports that demonstrate the value of clinical nutrition services.
    • Provide insights and content support for blogs, social media posts, and professional forums to help position Sodexo as a leader in clinical nutrition innovation.
    • Assist in the development of training materials, internal newsletters, and presentations to educate clinical teams, sales professionals, and operational leaders on new nutrition services, program updates, and best practices.

What You Bring

  • Clinical & Industry Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of clinical nutrition principles, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices in diverse healthcare settings.
    • Ability to translate scientific research and emerging trends into practical, scalable nutrition solutions.
    • Familiarity with quality improvement processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) for evaluating nutrition services.
  • Data & Performance Analysis:
    • Competency in collecting, interpreting, and applying data-driven insights to improve nutrition services.
    • Familiarity with tools and methodologies for tracking outcomes, trends, and the effectiveness of new initiatives.
    • Ability to assist in the development of benchmarking and performance measurement strategies.
  • Project Management & Execution:
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives, ensuring timely execution of nutrition-related projects.
    • Ability to coordinate pilots, monitor progress, and adjust strategies based on outcomes.
    • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align implementation efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Communication:
    • Ability to engage and collaborate across functions, ensuring alignment of messaging and initiatives.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals, operational teams, and external partners.
    • Ability to communicate and articulate complex data and outcomes to various stakeholders.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials 
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or similar certification within 6 months of hire
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Certification/licensure as required by state of practice as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food management, or related field

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in health care clinical management of outpatient services, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
