About the Internship

Are you a data enthusiast looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) area? Do you want to develop your skills and knowledge in GenAi and analytics? Would you like to run some experiments with GenAI how to best use the new technology for E&C? We're excited to offer an internship opportunity for students to join our data team as a Ethics & Compliance Intern!

As a member of the data team within E&C, you will have the chance to work alongside our experienced data science and analytics team, supporting various tasks and projects. You will gain exposure to GenAI and analytics in the area of E&C.

What you will be doing here

You will support our E&C Data Team, dedicated to several compliance topics like monitoring, policies, investigations, transparency and risk management to work on various related tasks including:

  • Run selected GenAI and Analytics experiments to support our E&C business functions
  • Support to collect business requirements from different E&C functions and design an appropriate solution to fulfill the business needs.
  • Support an environment & culture of continuous improvement of data solutions and processes to provide valuable and effective solutions to ensure compliance within Takeda.
  • Support to design a process framework to run GenAI and Analytics applications within Takeda
  • Support E&C Data Team on ad-hoc new projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a degree in Data, Data Science, Informatics, or a related field.
  • Completed a bachelor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Experience in GenAI development and analytics solutions
  • Must have: Python knowledge incl. common data science packages (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and Jupyter Notebook
  • Nice-to-have: Git, a data viz tool such as PowerBI, IDE such as Pycharm/Visual Studio Code
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
