The Director of Data Management is responsible for overseeing the bank’s enterprise data strategy, management, reporting, ETL processes, and AI initiatives. The role ensures the integrity, security, and accessibility of financial and operational data while optimizing processes to support business objectives. Additionally, this position leads AI-driven innovation, ensuring responsible AI development and deployment within the bank’s regulatory framework. Must have extensive experience with Fiserv data, data governance frameworks, advanced analytics, and AI applications in banking.

What you will do:

  • Data Strategy & AI Integration: Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy, incorporating AI-driven solutions to enhance data processing, predictive analytics, and automation while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • AI & Machine Learning Development: Identify opportunities for AI applications, including NLP, fraud detection, risk assessment, and customer experience improvements. Oversee the evaluation and deployment of AI models while ensuring ethical AI usage.
  • Fiserv Data Expertise: Manage and optimize the bank’s data integration with Fiserv platforms, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and security. Explore AI-powered enhancements to improve data quality and insights.
  • ETL, Data Processing & AI Automation: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes, leveraging AI to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading for improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Reporting, Analytics & AI-Driven Insights: Lead the development of enterprise reporting solutions, incorporating AI-powered analytics and predictive modeling to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance & AI Governance: Ensure that data management and AI practices comply with banking regulations, including FFIEC, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks. Develop AI governance policies to align with regulatory and ethical AI standards.

Who you are:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, AI/ML, Information Systems, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Required: 10 years of experience in data management
  • Required: 5 years of experience in a leadership role within banking or financial services
  • Experience in AI/ML development, AI governance, or AI-driven data analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, AI governance, and regulatory compliance within banking.
  • Strong technical understanding and experience in complex database management, data architecture, and database implementation processes.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning applications, including NLP, fraud detection, and automation.
  • Proficiency in data integration platforms (Fiserv), BI tools, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Knowledge of ETL frameworks, data pipelines, and AI-enhanced data processing.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate AI and data concepts for non-technical audiences.

Pay Range: $165,000 - $260,000 annually

Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
