We are seeking a VP/Director Risk Analytics to lead Auto and Credit Card Loss Forecasting within our Risk Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team of analysts and lead the loss forecasting and portfolio credit analytics functions for the company’s auto finance and credit card portfolios.
Working with various partners, the role will manage loss forecasting, loan loss reserve, and portfolio credit analytics for the auto finance and credit card businesses, two emerging growth portfolios at OneMain. A successful candidate will expand competencies and grow business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle.
In the Role
· Own all aspects of portfolio loss forecasting and loan loss reserve modeling for the credit card and auto finance portfolios
· Develop and own ongoing portfolio credit risk monitoring and reporting for the credit card and auto finance portfolios
· Manage ongoing reporting and monitoring related to existing models and identify potential model enhancements as needed
· Generate regular outlook and portfolio trend summaries and present to senior management
· Drive continual enhancement of existing processes and reporting through automation, quality control, and analytical insights
· Understand the data and reporting environments to appropriately prioritize and set expectations for key reporting, modeling, and analytical priorities
· Partner with business and credit risk leaders within auto finance and credit card to ensure loss forecasts are aligned with latest strategic initiatives
· Lead initiatives to continually improve and innovate loss forecasting and portfolio credit risk monitoring for credit card and auto portfolios
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Biostatistics, Physics, or Computer Science). Master’s/PhD preferred.
· 7+ years of experience in a consumer lending institution, preferably with consumer credit card and auto finance experience
· 4+ years of leadership experience, building and prioritizing teams and objectives based on company strategy
· Experience developing and implementing CECL, CCAR, or loss forecasting models
· Advanced experience with technical software and programming languages such as SAS,SQL, R, or Python
· Superior communication skills with the comfort to interact and influence partners at all levels and senior business executives
· Proven experience working with teams of diverse individuals focused on several disparate projects simultaneously
Location: Wilmington, DE or Baltimore, MD
Target base salary range is $165K - $195K which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
