Praktikant (m/w/d) - Global Process Science Lab

Wir suchen einen engagierten Praktikanten (m/w/d) für unsere Abteilung Global Process Science Labs (GPSL) in Marburg. Nach Abschluss des Praktikums besteht die Möglichkeit, die erworbenen Kenntnisse im Rahmen einer Masterarbeit weiterzuführen, vorausgesetzt, es werden entsprechende Leistungen im Praktikum erbracht.

Hauptaufgaben

• Unterstützung bei der Etablierung von mechanistischen oder machine learning in silico Modellen für E. Coli Fermentationsprozesse

• Vergleich verschiedener Literaturmodelle und Anpassung an vorhandene Datensätze und Erfahrungswerte
• Evaluierung und Verifizierung des Models mit vorhandenen Datensätzen

• Ggf. Umgang mit gentechnisch veränderten E. Coli Stämmen (Fermentation/ Filtration/ Separation/ Homogenisation)
• Erstellung von Protokollen und Arbeitsanweisungen
• Zusammenfassung der Daten durch Erstellen eines Praktikumsberichtes

Qualifikationen & Fähigkeiten

• Masterstudent*in der Data Science, Bioinformatik, Biotechnologie o.ä.
• Programmierkenntnisse: Python / MATBLAB
• Sprachkenntnisse: Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit, hohe Flexibilität und Lernbereitschaft, hohe Teamfähigkeit
