📍 Location: Ballerup, Aarhus
As a data engineer, you will develop and implement Azure-based solutions that improve data integration, data quality, and data flow to support business processes and strategies. You will be a key part of our projects from start to finish and contribute to decisions regarding technology selection that meets customer needs.
Your role
In this role, you will help customers achieve their data and analytics strategy by setting up robust data warehouse and reporting solutions for processes such as finance, logistics, sales, manufacturing, projects and more. You will collaborate with developers, customers and business consultants to implement solutions on Azure. You will have the opportunity to use cutting-edge technology such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Analysis Services and the Power BI Premium platform. A senior data engineer has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of data warehouses, ETL tools, SQL, APIs and data modeling. You understand complex requirements and thrive when transforming these into robust data flows and structured views with high data quality and where future changes can be easily implemented. In this role, you will manage how decisions within each area affect the overall solution. Responsibilities will include:
- Develop robust data warehouses with an end-user focus for a variety of processes
- Building the infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading from a variety of sources
- Write good, clean and efficient code
- Use new technology like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Analysis Services, Power BI Premium and more
- Create fast and accurate data models

Qualifications
Just like us, you are passionate about making the world more data-driven based on the latest technologies and methods.
To be successful in the role, we see that you have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience within Microsoft's Data Platform, on-premises or cloud (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing and data modeling
- Very good skills and experience with SQL
- Speaks fluent Danish and English
- Experience with developing SSIS, SSAS and Power BI and preferably Microsoft ERP
- Proficiency in programming languages as Python, Java or Scala
