As an Operations Intelligence (OI) Engineer in Micron, you are responsible for driving Assembly & Test and PWF manufacturing efficiency projects to optimize cycle time and equipment utilization by enabling Productivity line management reports, Yield data analytic applications, and Scheduling solutions as well as automation for manufacturing operations. In this role, you will work with internal and external teams to develop planning and scheduling models to improve production metrics for site Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Apply & utilization provided systems and tools for production line scheduling and drive for improvement on yield, output, efficiency and machine utilization for A&T and PWF Manufacturing
• Develop, maintain, and improve related critical applications in logic to an optimize performance.
• Initiate and continuously improve for the A&T including manufacturing methods and processes.
• Participate in the creation, maintenance, improvement, and training of software, reports, and metrics related to A&T and PWF production line scheduling & dispatch as well as planning.
• Lead or support projects with site & network team.
• Responsible for site planning system enhancement and improvement.
• Communicate with other site and cross-functional departments to ensure that BKMs are shared
• Supports 24/7 OI systems and related applications when on call.

Education and Experience

Master degree above, major in Industrial Engineer, Information system, Computer Science, Data Statistics, Operations Research, or related field.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years in semiconductor field and work experience,
• Good Knowledge & Experience in applications, scheduling/dispatch implementation for Front End Fabs and Assembly & Test in Semiconductors industry.
• Good knowledge in inventory management, simulation, optimization, modeling, forecasting, automation, statistics, data mining, and database management.
• Knowledge of data structures of software systems such as big data analytics, manufacturing planning and execution system.
• Familiar with Front End Fabs and Assembly & Test Applications: ToolView, MAM, SAP, ETI, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and applications including Python/Django, Tableau, Power BI, MSSQL, Graph Machine Learning, GCP etc.
• Initiative, and willing to learn & share.
