Internship Project Title: Research and compare algorithms to automatically identify problems during semiconductor processing affecting product yield​

​Description: During processing of semiconductor wafers, there is a very high volume of data automatically collected, e. g. results of measurements done between process steps or sensor data collected during processing of a wafer.
 

Goal is to find out from this wide range of data methods correlate effectively to product yield at electrical tests.

• Research literature / publications on potential approaches from both academia and industry

• Build prototype implementation in Python using open source statistics and machine-learning libraries.  

• Evaluate options using data from historical Micron yield problems and make recommendation what methods to adopt

• The solution developed will be shared within Micron data science community for further algorithm review and optimization.​​
