Service Description:

As part of Keystone Solutions Digital & Data department, you will help our client leverage data as a crucial asset. The Data Platform consists of:

• Cutting-edge Integration Toolset
• Business Intelligence, Analytics, and storage capabilities
• A platform for the Management of Master Data
• A Data Governance platform that encompasses Data Lineage and Data Quality

Our Data Organization operates through Agile principles, consisting of:

• Business Product Teams supporting stakeholders initiatives
• Backbone/Platform Teams handling data platform initiatives
• Transversal Competencies Team supporting diverse profiles and technologies

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer Service consultant, your primary responsibility will be to join one of our product teams and directly influence the corporate Data organization. You will be tasked with creating data pipelines, efficient storage structures, and powerful materialized views while also establishing data exchange endpoints to enhance user accessibility. Interaction with governance tools will also be part of your role, ensuring quality data delivery.

What you will NOT be doing:

• You will not operate from an Ivory Technical Tower.
• You will not make decisions for the business but will advise with sound reasoning.
• You will not deliver technical solutions but rather product features.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with SQL Server
• Experience in implementing data pipelines using Azure services, such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Stream/log Analytics, and Azure DevOps
• Expertise in data pipelines or data enrichment with Python in a Databricks environment
• Fluency in English (must have) and familiarity with German/French or Dutch (soft requirement)
• Willingness to learn new technologies (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, Apache Arrow)
• Ability to collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and present integrated solutions
• Commitment to contributing to extensive solution testing, reinforcing DevOps principles within the team.
• Able to contribute to the structuring of documentation
• Experience with PowerBI

Additional Information:

• Work Regime: Full-time
• Location: 2 days/week in Brussels, 3 days/week remote (post-training), with occasional travel to Berlin
• Important: Non-EU candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a work permit enabling work in Belgium.
  • Hold a valid residence permit confirming the right of residence in Belgium.
