Job Description

As Commercial Analyst at Eurofiber, you'll be at the heart of driving commercial success across our organization. This pivotal role serves as the crucial link between sales and marketing teams, leveraging your analytical skills to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities. 

As a self-motivated and proactive individual, you'll manage multiple activities while maintaining a big-picture perspective. Your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be key to aligning and executing commercial plans.

You will work in the Marketing Team and work with several international Commercial Business Units.  

Core activities & responsibilities 

  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior, leveraging internal and external data sources to improve commercial activities and strategies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, create data-driven business cases, and support strategic decision-making, including network rollout initiatives. 
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support marketing campaigns, customer retention, and lead generation efforts. 
  • Support marketing and sales with targeted base and prospect selections, along with data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and decision-making. 
  • Perform extensive (geospatial) analytics and statistical modelling on large data sets to identify market/business sector trends, customer buying patterns, etc. to inform business, product development, and marketing decisions. 
  • Engage in and develop data science projects that enhance the commercial performance of marketing and sales initiatives (churn prediction, x-sell prediction, sales optimalization analysis). 
  • Automate data processes, acquire and integrate datasets, and create visualizations to support and enhance data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications 

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis, or a related function, or an advanced degree. 
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, e.g. PowerBI. 
  • Familiarity with MS Office, expert level MS Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Dutch native and proficient in spoken and written English. 

Preferred qualifications 

  • Experience in data visualisation, data modelling, big data analytics and programming languages, like: Python, R, or SQL. 
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including towards senior management. 
  • Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured environment.
