In this position…

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive system for measuring, visualizing, and responding to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the entire supply chain. The successful candidate will be a highly analytical and results-oriented individual with strong data visualization and communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain processes, data analysis techniques, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. The analyst will work closely with the CSCO and their leadership team to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Business Strategy & Operations in Supply Chain. 

What you'll do…

KPI Scorecard / Dashboard Development: Drive the north star and development of how we measure, visualize, and respond to key performance indicators (KPIs) for how Ford runs its supply chain business. This includes designing and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights into supply chain performance. 

Systems & IT/GDIA Collaboration: Partner with the different supply chain organization business offices, our systems team within supply chain excellence, and our IT/GDIA teams to define analytics roadmap and prioritization. This involves understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy. 

Automation & Continuous Improvement: Pursue opportunities to streamline and automate how metrics are measured, documented, and visualized, to give back time to the organization to spend more time on running the business. This includes identifying and implementing new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy. 

Incentive-Mapping: Collaborate with organizations outside of supply chain (e.g. MP&L, PD) to understand areas of KPI / metric misalignment to identify and implement recommendations to improve KPI definition and execution by increasing level of shared objectives.  

Annual KPI Objective Setting: Partner with supply chain teams to adjust KPIs each year as needed based on emerging needs of the business. This involves staying abreast of industry trends, understanding evolving business priorities, and ensuring that KPIs remain relevant and effective. 

Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in supply chain performance. Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor KPI performance and identify areas for improvement. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps. 

Best Practice Research: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in KPI development, data visualization, and supply chain analytics. Share knowledge and insights with the team to drive continuous learning and improvement. 

You'll have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, business analytics, or a related field, preferably within a large organization.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing KPI dashboards and performance monitoring systems. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify actionable insights. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to various audiences. 
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Master's degree
  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Experience with supply chain mgmt. software (e.g., ERP systems) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python)
