Your Mission
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, working individually or as part of a team. You will implement scalable data pipelines, refine existing processes, and integrate machine learning analytics to improve efficiency and accuracy. Your expertise in software development methodologies, cloud environments, and security tools will drive mission-critical solutions that support the Agency IT Enterprise.

You Will Excel If You Are:

• Experienced in Python development and data pipeline implementation
• Proficient in designing, training, and deploying machine learning models
• Skilled in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiar with AWS services and cloud-based application deployment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Capable of documenting processes and providing thorough reports

A Day In The Life Of:

• Developing and refining data pipelines for improved efficiency and accuracy
• Enhancing and maintaining data science tools for transition to production environments
• Designing and implementing ML analytics using libraries like PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
• Training, testing, tracking, and curating machine learning models
• Integrating GitOps for continuous integration and deployment of models using Docker scaling
• Leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for application development and deployment
• Enhancing security monitoring services by integrating model and tool outputs into CND systems
• Documenting processes, code, and providing comprehensive reports on completed tasks

Must Have

• TS/SCI with polygraph. This polygraph must have been completed within the last 6 years.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university (Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Machine Learning
