Developer (Python, Databricks)

This is a six-month contract joining a dedicated team working with large data sets. A strong Python development background is instrumental as developing PySpark APIs is a key requirement, in addition to expertise with MS SQL and Databricks. The mandate is to work in conjunction with third-party consultants and directly with Users to analyze and validate solutions by creating Notebooks to support reporting on business workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Databricks.
  
• Strong expertise with Python and MS SQL.
  
• Experience with Azure is preferred.
  
• Hands-on experience in Python PySparks and creating MS Notebooks.
  
• Excellent critical thinking and data analysis/problem-solving skills.
