What you’ll do:

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in leading design projects that span across the SAP product portfolio, with a focus on AI-driven experiences. Working collaboratively with teams across various product lines, you'll spearhead the creation of common user experience solutions that transcend individual products, ensuring consistency and excellence throughout the SAP ecosystem. Your contributions will directly impact SAP's ability to achieve greater outcomes while elevating the standard of design to a new level. You’ll bring a wealth of expertise and passion for crafting exceptional user experiences, excel in leading design projects, and collaborate with teams to create common user experience solutions that are product agnostic. Your deep understanding of design principles, coupled with your ability to identify opportunities to infuse AI capabilities, will accelerate AI-driven user-centered design initiatives as part of the SAP ecosystem. With a keen eye for innovation and a knack for fostering collaboration across disciplines, you’ll drive the delivery of new AI-powered experiences that will usher in higher standards of design in enterprise software.

Expectations and tasks

• Visualize AI-enhanced experience concepts through the creation of wireframes, design mockups, journey maps, process flows, and prototypes
• Analyze user needs and gather requirements across multiple product experiences to understand the dependencies for a common AI-driven experience solution
• Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and design leadership
• Work with design representatives across various lines of business to produce strategy of AI-enhanced experience concepts to final solution
• Build relationships and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Design, UX Research, Product Management, Engineering
• Present and justify proposed AI-driven solutions and articulate design with key stakeholders

About You

• 7+ years of experience in UX and product design
• A strong portfolio showcasing foundational understanding of UX and UI design, thought process, and how you've contributed to solving specific problems with functional AI-enhanced designs
• Experience working with cross-functional teams – partnering with product and development to oversee the user experience from conception to launch
• Ability to think long and short-term to meet the constraints of product and experience needs while iterating toward a future AI-driven vision
• Clear communication skills and ability to present your work to internal stakeholders at different design stages and support your decisions
• Experience with prototyping to explore and convey AI-powered design solutions
• Self-guided and motivated to learn new tools and techniques, especially in AI and automation

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 141700 - 266300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
