Position Title: Analyst, Strategy & Analytics (Wrigley Field) 

​Salary:  $70,000 - 75,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

The E15 analyst supporting Levy at Wrigley Field will manage the delivery of analytics and insights to Levy’s operators and the Chicago Cubs. Reporting to E15’s Director of Business Strategy & Data Analytics at Wrigley Field, you will produce analytical insights and recommendations for hospitality initiatives. Additionally, this position is responsible for establishing and advancing the methods, processes, and standards of analytics and partner service that fuel the innovation driving Levy operations. 


Responsibilities:

  • Reporting – Own the post-event reporting process and dashboard creation.
  • Presentations – Develop slide decks for business review processes, performance updates, and strategic opportunities.
  • Strategy – Develop and deploy optimal pricing, product, and placement strategies for concessions, premium, and retail merchandise using a variety of data sources (point-of-sale data, third-party sources, etc.).
  • New Opportunities – Identify opportunities to change existing product offerings and processes using data analytics and knowledge of operational processes at Wrigley Field.
  • P&L Management – Analyze and build optimal solutions around increasing revenue, managing variable labor, and reducing cost of sales.
  • Modeling – Build financial models to evaluate and support key strategic initiatives.
  • Consulting – Build relationships with key Levy and Chicago Cubs stakeholders by understanding their overall strategies and business objectives.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated instances as a self-starter eager to learn a business and drive insights.
  • Desire to develop and own stakeholder relationships including the ability to work collaboratively in a consultative role.
  • Proactive approach and strong sense of urgency to identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel proficiency.
  • Experience using PowerPoint to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.

 

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in data analytics, statistics, business, finance, economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in quantitative/analytical consulting as well as experience interacting with internal organizational leadership.
  • Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems.
  • Data analytics experience including defining a problem; collecting, cleaning, and preparing data; analyzing information; interpreting results; visualizing findings; and developing recommendations based on the insights.
  • Experience using SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau for data analysis.
  • Food service and/or retail operations experience a plus.

 

Expectations:

  • Expected to work 4-5 days of the work week at Wrigley Field with occasional attendance at evening and weekend events.
