Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Credit Risk, you will utilize customer loan data and provide analysis across various aspects of customer life cycle including underwriting, account management and/or collections. You will be responsible for developing, designing and implementing portfolio optimization and account risk strategies.

 

What you will do:

  • Develop strategies to optimize branch efficiency and performance including collections strategy, application pull-through, branch optimization, capacity planning and alternative operating models.
  • Implement A/B testing plans to evaluate the financial and operational impact of proposed strategies on the overall business.
  • Work closely with operational leaders to devise risk policies, identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the overall direction of the business.
  • Develop dashboards to monitor and analyze portfolio and segment-level performance including performance of implemented strategies.
  • Summarize and present results across a wide range of business areas to the executive team.
  • Become familiar with assigned markets and products for use in developing/modifying operating and collections strategies to meet business goals.

Qualifications

What you should have:

  • BS/MS in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, math, qualitative social science, operation management, finance, ) or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years of experience in consumer finance or analytical experience in a related industry Experience in Financial Services with emphasis on consumer lending products
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in SQL, Snowflake, SAS or Python
  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of how to utilize data to target improvements and solve problems
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision 
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment

 

Base Salary: $90,000 - $135,000

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

 

All full-time salaried employees are eligible for the following benefits, starting on day one: Flexible Paid Time Off Program, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, and other voluntary coverages. You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
