Summary

We are recruiting for an Associate Master Data Analyst.  This position will support operations by maintaining, monitoring and analyzing customer/vendor master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. Establishing Automated workflows and process in the data management platform.” Collaborative involvement with department associates in decision making for the compliance of established data governance rules and procedures and activities within the Data organization. Direct involvement with Multi Domain lead and department manager to attain project deliverables for governance and data quality.

 

 

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $83,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

1. Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.

2. Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, governance. Assists in the development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, document and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.

3. Analyzes and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.

4. Provides assistance to Senior Analyst and department Manager and makes independent decisions for resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.

5. Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements

6. Assist in the execution of a formal Data governance program enterprise wide. Collaborate with organizational SME’s in Foods, Corp and Agribusiness and other companies for developing standards.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Required:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years’ experience. Associate degree + 2-4 years relevant experience,  5+ years’ SAP MD experience or a degree in Information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred

 

Preferred:  

  • Very Good analytical skills and problem- solving skills.
  • Good personal computer and business solutions software skills.
  • Ability to apply learned techniques to critical thinking skills to achieve successful results for the company.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
  5. May require on call or off hours for projects or break-fix issues.
