Data MLOPS Platform Engineer

The Data & AI department at NN Group IT is currently seeking a motivated Data & MLOPS Platform Engineer to support several data & AI platforms for our NN Group Support Functions (HR, Facility Management, IT, Non-Financial Risk). You will be working in close collaboration with the other Data & AI teams to build effective Data & AI solutions.

What you are going to do

Data Integration and Management: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to integrate various data sources into the Data Platforms and GAIA (NN Knowledge platform). Azure Services: Leverage Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, to build and optimize data solutions. Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data & platform security, privacy, and compliance with NN standards and regulations. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and storage solutions to ensure efficient data processing.Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, architectures, and integrations.

Who you are

• You have a degree in Computer Science and Machine Learning
• You have 5+ years of relevant software, data, and/or platform engineering experience, building systems that are modular, testable, and scalable
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud services (Azure/AWS) like ADF, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks, Key Vaults, BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Datapipeline, etc
• Hands-on Experience with Azure Cloud services like Azure Key Vault, Azure Blob Storage, Azure DevOps, Azure Virtual Machines
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, R, Scala, Kotlin, Bash, JavaScript, C#
• Experience with Machine Learning frameworks like Scikit Learn, Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow
• Experience in integration of Data Platforms and AI solutions
• Experience in maintaining and properly securing data platform infrastructure
• Experience with Data as Code; version control, small and regular commits, unit tests, CI/CD, packaging, branching, etc

Optional skills qualifications as a plus:

• Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Apache Hive
• IT and Facility Management domain knowledge in a Data context

Who you will work with

You will work in a team along other data platform engineers and a product owner having as scope multiple data platforms to support various support functions. You regularly interact and work closely with engineers from the different business teams and the Central Data & AI teams.
