Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a highly motivated scientist with a track record of excellence for a position in Global R&D, Skin Research & Innovation group, based in Piscataway, NJ.
What you will do
-
Design and deliver in vitro and ex vivo scientific discovery programs related to skin health, and aging
-
Develop and assess AI-based molecular biology and modeling to support skin health business and research
-
Collaborate with internal and external teams at developing AI-based tools and services
-
Extract meaningful biological insights from various tools/methods developed collaborate to validate results
-
Interpret findings through presentation and data visualizations to internal partners and contribute to scientific publications.
Required Qualifications
-
Masters in Biology/Chemistry with 2+ years in bioinformatics, cell/molecular biology, biochemistry, computational biology or a related field with strong background in biology or chemistry

General understanding of skin biology
-
Hands on experience with human skin cell/tissue culture (keratinocytes, fibroblasts, skin equivalents and explants)

Experience with bioinformatics, chemical informatics or computational modeling projects
-
Experience with programming languages and database tools such as Python, R, C++, SQL
-
Knowledge of computational models and machine learning
Preferred Qualifications
-
Ph.D. in bioinformatics, cell/molecular biology, biochemistry, computational biology or a related field with 2+ yrs of experience
-
Experience in computation modeling such as QSAR, molecular docking, or other prediction models
-
Strong problem-solving skills, project management and execution skills
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $90,000.00 - $128,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
