Sr Analyst, Market Analytics

This role is hybrid(3 days onsite) in Exton, PA. Candidates applying must be residing within a 50 mile commutable radius to the job location.

Job Summary

The role will contribute to West's vision of enhancing its global market intelligence program. With focus on analyzing complex data sets, designing and building Power BI dashboards, working with data pipelines and flows to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. As a vital member of the team, you will work collaboratively within the team and with key stakeholders where necessary to translate data into appropriate and defendable insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Build, optimize, and manage data pipelines and data flows to integrate data from various sources.
• Analyze and interpret large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analytics.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Automate data collection and reporting processes to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Document data processes and workflows, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members.
• Conduct regular audits of data sources to ensure alignment with Commercial goals and KPIs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or another quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in Power BI, including creating and managing dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Strong experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Experience with data integration from various sources, such as APIs, flat files, or cloud platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning techniques.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
• Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policies at all times.

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Light-Exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently constantly to move objects.
