About the Role

As a Manager in the Data and AI Advisory Services team, you will lead client projects that address intricate challenges across various industries. You will be part of an award-winning team that focuses on both the technical and business aspects of data, analytics, and AI. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded and valued data professional.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of data-driven solutions that provide measurable value to clients.
• Oversee the creation of fit-for-purpose data models and enterprise-ready data architectures.
• Guide the establishment of cloud infrastructure solutions and the integration of data from multiple sources.
• Manage the development of data pipelines for production environments.
• Attend and lead client meetings and workshops with executives and senior management.
• Document system and project requirements.
• Drive continual improvement of our data practice.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

About you

Ideally, you’ll come from a tech consulting background and passionate to work with clients.  You’ll have a strong internal drive, a growth mindset and a genuine desire to build a long-term and meaningful career within our industry.

Combined with:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
• Extensive experience in data engineering and architecture, with versatility across roles.
• Exceptional data modelling capabilities, including conceptual, logical, and physical modelling.
• Proficiency in Python or SQL.
• Experience in delivering secure, scalable cloud data platforms (e.g., Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Familiarity with modern data orchestration and transformation tools (e.g., Data Factory, DBT, Airflow).
• Proven ability to integrate disparate data sources and deliver value through productionized data pipelines.
• Understanding of data security, observability, and networking principles.
• Experience developing Data Science and Artificial Intelligence solutions, and working in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or suitable work experience in lieu of qualifications.
