Business Intelligence (BI) Data Specialist Multi-Channel

This role is crucial in equipping business analysts in our multi-channel markets with essential data. The primary responsibility is to enable these analysts to effectively evaluate performance so that our leaders may refine tactics in support of alignment with our overarching strategic goals.

Your tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for the Business Analysts in our multi-channel markets (currently Americas)
• Attain and maintain thorough understanding of all required data sources, relationships and models including data from Salesforce, SAP ECC/S4H and other legacy sources such as SQL or Access databases
• Develop reports, dashboards, SQL views, stored procedures etc. as required for complex Business Analysis scenarios
• Translate the frequently ‘non-technical’ Business Analysts’ requirements into technical definitions for report and data source design
• Participate in report solution implementation including thorough testing, validation and support for multi-channel markets
• Work with IT infrastructure team to monitor / maintain SQL servers
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation, diagrams, procedures, etc. related to multi-channel business analysis

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong customer service mindset and understanding of the impact business analysis has on strategy and vice versa
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server including Power BI report server, report / dashboard design, views, stored procedures, triggers, report automation, etc.
• Detailed knowledge and experience working with disparate data sources and modeling
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of business intelligence functions, including analytics, data mining, reporting, report conversion, data cleansing, data modeling and relational databases.
• Willingness and ability to travel (occasionally)
• Business English proficiency at Level
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ideal candidate will also have experience with:
  • Azure Data Lake Analytics
  • SAP S4H On-Premises Reporting and Data Model including FIORI / SAP CDS Views / Self Service and Dashboard Cloud Reporting
  • Common 3rd party Power BI Connectors such as Salesforce and ServiceNow
