We are looking for a TDM Studio Data Analyst to join our team! You will collaborate with both the development and product teams to deliver valuable product solutions. This role offers the opportunity to develop data analysis skills and gain experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar in Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Social Sciences, MLIS, or a related area
  • 1-3 years of programming experience using Python or R (preferred) for data analysis / business analytics

It Would Be Great If You Also Had…

  • Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and Python/R programming for data analysis
  • Experience building LLM workflows for text analysis and data processing
  • Previous experience contributing to researcher training and creating support materials, videos, or documentation
  • A strong understanding of academic research needs and experience collaborating with researchers in academia

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

  • Maintain and develop codebase for current and future sample Jupyter Notebooks using Python and R
  • Create sample scripts in Jupyter Notebook using Python or R to be included in TDM Studio
  • Map content from different XML structures and integrate into the platform
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to create additional researcher training materials, including videos, documentation, and other support materials
  • Build workflows using LLMs for text analysis and data processing
  • Engage with researchers by leading TDM-researcher conference panels, case studies, and webinars
  • Work closely with the academic customers and researchers to ensure product and service growth

The TDM Studio product team is responsible for creating and enhancing innovative data analysis tools and solutions. We work closely with academic customers and researchers to provide effective and impactful solutions, fostering growth through the application of AI and data science techniques. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing product within a larger company, contributing to meaningful work in the research space.

Hours of Work

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Hybrid Position: Must be able to work 2-3 days a week in our Ann Arbor, MI office
