Data Analyst

The Position:   

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our IT team in Vietnam. As part of a larger Operations Department, you will be running different data projects on OPSWAT internal systems. You will get exposure to all OPSWAT’s departments, work in a global environment, and an opportunity to gain experience with the technical operations of a large organization dedicated to supporting the critical infrastructure of the world. 

What You Will Be Doing:  

• Interact with different departments and people.  
• Gather data from internal and external sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and data lake. 
• Develop and apply data models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights. 
• Gather and analyze requirements and design solutions to meet business needs. 
• Thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures 
• Manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. 
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. 
• Write clear and detailed technical specification. 

What We Need from You:  

• 3-year work experience in a similar position. Proficiency Hands-On SQL Experience.
• Proven experience in working with data from various systems (Salesforce/Oracle NetSuite/HubSpot is a plus). 
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with database management and ETL processes 
• Proficiency with Power BI
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy. 
• Proven experience in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization. 
• Experience with Big Data projects.  
• Work well independently and within a team setting. 

 It Would Be Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Mongo DB.
• Ability to analyze complex technical information. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
