The company operates the largest airport television network in North America, with thousands of screens across commercial and private airports. It redefines travel media by delivering a mix of original and partner-produced content, designed to engage travelers with truth and positivity. We develop regression models, classification algorithms, and geospatial clustering within a location-data platform processing terabytes of data daily. The role requires expertise in ML, Gen AI, Deep Learning, and advanced statistics. A PhD is required, along with experience in Scala, Spark, Python, and Bayesian methods.

Responsibilities

• The Data Scientist will develop and implement ML and Gen AI algorithms, design scalable solutions, and analyze large-scale location data.

• Responsibilities include assessing data quality, documenting findings, collaborating with engineering for productionization, and communicating results.

• The role requires problem-solving skills and project ownership

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative field (or Master’s with 5+ years of experience in data science).

• Strong background in machine learning, Gen AI, deep learning, probabilistic graphical models, active learning, anomaly detection, and image classification.

• Proficiency in Scala, Spark, Python, A/B testing, Bayesian statistics, graphical data structures, and functional programming.

• Extensive experience in mathematics and statistics.

• Proven ability to own and drive multiple large projects/data products.

• Skilled in conducting research from initial hypothesis to production-ready proof of concept.

• Ability to document findings and processes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
