YOUR MISSION
Glovo (glovoapp.com) is looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to support the Customer Compensations team in our headquarters in Barcelona. The Customer Compensation team’s goal is to maximize customer retention on our daily operations at a minimal cost, bringing the best return on investment for each of the Glovo markets. You will act and operate as a startup within a startup, providing both strategic thinking and analytical skills to help build excellence in Operations with focus on customer experience.
THE JOURNEY
- Understand the operations model in Glovo to provide advice to the different teams in terms of Customer compensation spend to improve customer retention, orders and Glovo’s EBITDA
- Be the point of contact for the whole company in terms of Customer Compensations for one of Glovo’s regions and own the compensations policies setup
- Work closely with the regional teams to identify issues and opportunities, defining action plans to improve customer retention or reduce costs
- Contribute to the business discussion via different and novel analysis approaches, being able to present insights & suggested actions into senior stakeholders
- Solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches
- Translate business queries into quantified & insightful reporting and KPIs to assess performance and determine the effectiveness of the implemented initiatives
- Create dashboards to give visibility to the top-management of the team’s performance, ensuring scalability of the reporting
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- A university degree in engineering, economics, business administration, mathematics, statistics or similar disciplines (preferred).
- +1 years of prior experience in a data-driven fast paced environment, delivering actionable insights.
- Sound business acumen.
- Ability to balance and prioritise multiple requests.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in SQL and GSheets/Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for the latest tools & technologies. Comfortable managing large data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and hierarchical levels.
- Fluent spoken and written English. Having the capability to not only communicate clearly but also write structurally and understandably.
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
Nice to have:
- Experience with Python, R or similar tools are a plus.
- Experience with AB Testing is a plus.
