Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in Cloud & Kubernetes Infrastructure, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. This position is Hybrid/on-site in Lisbon/Porto. (if needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters on-premises or in the cloud.
• Containerize applications and optimize Kubernetes deployments for performance and resource utilization.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Establish monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Optimize cluster performance and resolve bottlenecks and resource constraints.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard Kubernetes environments.
• Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes and container-related issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure best practices.

Requirements for the role 

• 5+ years in Kubernetes Orchestrator service management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments, including large-scale cluster management.
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration principles.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
• Familiarity with Rancher, OpenShift, Docker, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Microsoft).
• Proficiency in monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) and CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitOps, HELM).
• Experience with storage solutions (S3, MinIO, Nooba, Software-Defined Storage).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Belf
