Are you a seasoned Motion Designer with a sense for communication design and a passion for new technologies? Do you excel at transforming complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals that enhance brand identity and drive performance marketing results? If so, we invite you to join our Brand and Creative Production team, where your creative vision will elevate our projects and help reinforce our brand expression across multiple channels.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Conceptualize, design, and animate dynamic visuals for TV commercials, digital marketing campaigns, and paid social media that clearly communicate trivago’s brand messages
• Collaborate with our brand and marketing teams to develop visuals that not only resonate with audiences but also drive measurable performance in marketing campaigns
• Work closely with our creative team to refine visual narratives that align with brand strategies, ensuring every piece of content reinforces our brand identity
• Manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality while transparently communicating the technical possibilities and limitations of each project
• Guide and support junior designers by sharing your expertise in storytelling and performance-driven design, contributing to the growth of our creative talent

What you'll need to thrive:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in motion design, with a robust portfolio that demonstrates advanced motion & communication design skills and a deep focus on branding
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite, along with advanced skills in Maxon Cinema 4D and generative AI tools such as MidJourney, Firefly and Stable Diffusion
• Extensive experience in video editing, colour grading, and sound design, with a keen eye for timing and detail
• Demonstrated experience contributing to performance marketing campaigns that deliver impactful results
• Proven understanding of brand & communication strategies and ability to work effectively with established brand guidelines
• Exceptional ability to translate complex ideas into visually coherent narratives, combined with excellent communication and presentation skills
• A passion for staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, including familiarity with AI tools for image generation, audio processing, and video-to-text applications
• Excellent English skills (company language) to ensure clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• A degree in design, animation, communication design, or a related field
