Process Mining Developer

Purpose of the job

The Process Mining Developer will be the subject matter expert on Process Mining and other discovery tools. They will ensure that the Process Mining build meets business requirements and adheres to Collinson's development standards. The Developer will also help the business understand the outputs for each targeted process and system.

The Process Mining Developer will own and drive the end-to-end implementation of process mining technology. They will collaborate directly with data analysts, data engineers, process owners, and teams within each customer to understand their goals, objectives, and necessities and translate them into technical requirements. The Developer will also be responsible for documenting processes and workflows, ensuring that the results are available for further research and analysis.

They will also be responsible for maintaining and supporting the platform..


Key Responsibilities

· Perform data discovery to understand available data sources.

· Validate and ensure the quality of raw data.

· Configure extraction methods using specialised tools or interfaces. Snaplogic

· Refine and clean data for analysis.

· Transform data by adding entities, activities, attributes, metrics, and tags.

· Create validation tests for data and activities.

· Track version history using version control systems.

· Upload data to the production environment.

· Perform data discovery to understand available data sources.

· Validate and ensure the quality of raw data.

· Configure extraction methods using specialised tools or interfaces.

· Refine and clean data for analysis.

· Transform data by adding entities, activities, attributes, metrics, and tags.

· Create validation tests for data and activities.

· Track version history using version control systems.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

· UI Path process Mining Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related fields.

· Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using tools like SQL, Python.

· Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

· Knowledge of business process management (BPM) concepts and frameworks.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
