Summary
We are looking for an Architect with strong Data Architecture and Engineering hands-on experience to be part of the leadership working primarily for UK clients followed by the wider EMEA region. In this position, you will lead analytics and data engineering solutions, working closely with our teams in the region. For this specific role we need Power BI experience (deploying, configuring and integrating Power BI reports - focused on scalability, security and data governance).
Key Responsibilities / Main Activities
We are looking for someone who has:Solid experience designing and implementing data solutions (pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes).Solid experience building and scaling reporting solutions (using Power BI).Solid experience in architecture design and technical leadership.Solid experience in understanding, questioning, prioritising and translating business problems into data solutions (BI, analytics, deterministic and statistical models, ML).Solid experience with a cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)Experience in identifying, gathering and prioritising non-functional requirements, technical pain points, environment and client constraints.Experience with Microsoft Data Platform on Azure (Fabric),  Databricks or AWS Data Services — especially within the realms of data integration, analysis and visualisation.Experience in data pipeline orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue or Apache Airflow.Experience with CI/CD and MLOps pipelines.Experience with IaC.Willingness to work with different technologies and learn every day

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and Support Power BI Semantic Mode.lDefine Enterprise-Wide process for building Semantic Model and Reports.Define Process for Managing Data and Report Access.Define how Power BI will fit into Enterprise Data Governance (lineage, catalogs, …).Define Change Management Process.Develop and Support CI/CD PipelinesDesign, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices.Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
We expect candidates to have knowledge in some, but not necessarily all fields below:Knowledge on using Snowflake as a DataWahouse.Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR and etc).Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing.Knowledge of using python or other scripting languages to automate day to day tasks.Knowledge on different SQL and No SQL databases.Knowledge of design patterns, clean architecture and clean coding.Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing
